A number of traditions were born in this place, such as the textile-woolen that, despite no longer being strictly localized totally in this district still shows the concrete signsof woollen craftsmanship, a memory made of people, places and objects, as well as excellence that continues to be handed down over time under the name of great Italian high fashion brands.
Biella is still that place where you can work all day in the office, switch off your PC and enjoy a walk in the woods, in the mountains or by the lake without moving for hours in a car. It is the place where we recover our energy, the place we love to call home, where we got to know each other and, one day, put our ideas and skills together to make them available to the region.

It all started with translation work as a freelancer and then, over time, the idea of an ‘International Communication Agency’ developed in order to be able to offer different services to my clients, also in other languages that I have been practicing for years (English, French, Spanish and German). I am in charge of the services offered by the agency, and in the role of consecutive interpreting interpreter in French.
In common with Caterina, who takes care of the agency’s interpreting service, I obviously have an interest in foreign languages, a passion for to-do-lists and a lot of initiative.

Freelance interpreter and translator, I speak English, Spanish, a little Arabic and Swahili. After a series of work experiences around the world (England, Spain, Tanzania mainly) I started my own business as a freelance conference interpreter and translator. I believe that the founding value of my job is to be an interpreter who gives confidence, in the speaker and the listener.
Like Eleonora, I have a passion for foreign languages, for contact with different people and cultures and for freelancing.

SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETER
This type, also called conference interpreting, has the interpreter translating the speaker simultaneously.
Translation is immediate and takes place via soundproof booths, consoles, microphone and headphones for the listening audience.
Simultaneous interpreting is used for speech translation during congresses, conferences and international summits.
EVEN REMOTELY (RSI)
We collaborate with professional hubs in our area to work as simultaneous interpreters, also remotely.
CHUCHOTAGE
It means whispered interpretation.
The interpreter stands next to the listener and translates the conversation he hears, whispering.
For this reason, no technological equipment is required, but it is suitable for a small audience.
CONSECUTIVE
Here the interpreter is present in the room, in front of the audience, and works alongside the speaker while taking notes and translating a portion of a few minutes of the speaker's speech. Note-taking during consecutive interpretation is a special technique, different from shorthand. It is composed of symbols and abbreviations that each performer creates according to their own taste and memory.
NEGOTIATION INTERPRETER
This type also referred to as ‘liaison interpreting’ or ‘business to business’ is an interpreting mode used during business negotiations.
It consists of short conversations, without note-taking. Negotiation interpreting is mainly used in corporate contexts, at trade fairs, business meetings where the interpreter accompanies clients for successful negotiations.
LINGUISTIC MEDIATION
Language mediation is crucial in many aspects of our daily lives, especially in an increasingly international society focused on cultural integration.
The aim here is to mediate between different languages and cultures and to convey different customs and traditions.
It is employed in corporate contexts, in the role of foreign salesperson and/or mediating relations with foreign customers and suppliers, or among small groups of people during meetings and visits of various kinds and purposes.
